Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 375°F and line a small rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cut the plums in half and remove and discard the pits. Place plums cut side up on the prepared pan.
- Combine melted Kerrygold Salted Butter, maple syrup and brown sugar in a small bowl and brush over the top of plum halves. Place star anise in as many plum halves as desired.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until edges are starting to crinkle. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
- Serve with ice cream, creme fraiche or whipped cream, if desired.
