Instructions: 

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F and line a small rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper. 
  2. Cut the plums in half and remove and discard the pits. Place plums cut side up on the prepared pan. 
  3. Combine melted Kerrygold Salted Butter, maple syrup and brown sugar in a small bowl and brush over the top of plum halves. Place star anise in as many plum halves as desired.  
  4. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until edges are starting to crinkle. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.  
  5. Serve with ice cream, creme fraiche or whipped cream, if desired.
